A collaboration between Niantic and SpotX, Trading Post was an attempt to create collectable NFT biocards for Ingress agents that were stored on the Polygon blockchain.

On April 10, 2023, it was announced that Niantic was pulling the plug on Trading Post. Agents were given 30 days to finish trading their biocards and 60 days to download them before they would be deleted.

The entire project was a convoluted mess of buzzwords and jargon that made no sense to anyone outside of the tech industry.
